MPIC denies reports of new investor

METRO Pacific Investment Corp. (MPIC) on Thursday denied news reports that a new investor would be acquiring a stake in the company.

MPIC said it had not entered into any definitive agreement for an acquisition of a substantial interest in the company by any party.
