Senate opens probe into New Year's Day 'glitch' at NAIA

THE Senate started a public hearing on Thursday on the January 1 air control 'technical glitch' that shut down the Philippine airspace and cancelled over 600 flights and affected about 65,000 passengers.

The Committee on Public Services and the Committee on Civil Service, Government Reorganization, and Professional Regulation; and Committee on Finance will lead the investigation.
