Blood supply in Bicol critically low

LEGAZPI CITY: The Department of Health (DoH) and Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in Bicol are calling for a massive blood donation drive to replenish the blood supply in the region.

Dr. Alan Lucañas, City Health Office laboratory administrator of Bicol South Luzon Sub National Reference Laboratory-Blood Center of the DoH, said that the status of blood supply in Bicol is 'critically low.'
