THE Department of Agriculture will stop selling P170 per kilo of onions at the Kadiwa centers starting on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023 amid an ongoing investigation by the Office of the Ombudsman on the controversial deal of the DA with a farmer cooperative.
In an interview with The Manila Times, Agriculture Deputy Spokesman Rex Estoperez said that it was the decision of the agency to stop selling highly subsidized onions at the Kadiwa outlets.
