WITH the government gearing toward food sufficiency and security, the Department of Agriculture (DA) sees the need for farmers to register agricultural and fisheries machines and equipment to ensure their quality and safety.

In his "Director Hour" radio program, Narciso Edillo, executive director of the DA-Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2 covering Cagayan Valley), noted the increasing awareness among farmers of the advantages of utilizing mechanization technologies in the agricultural production system.
