Department of National Defense (DND) Undersecretary Angelito de Leon and Director Arsenio Andolong, DND spokesman, hold a press conference at the military headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2022 to announce the smooth transfer of authority to Defense Secretary designate Carlito Galvez from officer-in-charge Jose Faustino Jr. Faustino and about nine Defense officials resigned after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. brought back Gen. Andres Centino as AFP chief of staff, replacing Lt. Gen. Vicente Bacarro after only five months in office.
