THE Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) asked for the deployment of additional ships in the Port of Calapan to address the growing number of passengers.
PPA observed the lack of ships calling at the port when students and employees returned after the holidays.Elvis Medalla, manager of the Port Management Office (PMO) Mindoro, said that the turn-around time of the passenger ships at the port slowed down due to the reduced number of fastcraft traveling at Calapan Port.
