THE chief of the Police Regional Office in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-BARMM) and other high-ranking officers have submitted their courtesy resignation to Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr.
Last Wednesday, Abalos called for the resignation of all police officers with the rank of colonel and general to cleanse the Philippine National Police (PNP) of officials who are linked to the illegal drugs trade.
