China lambasts German legislators' visit to Taiwan, cites wartime past

TAIPEI: China on Monday invoked Germany's 'painful' history in slamming a visit by a high-ranking German parliamentary delegation to Taiwan, in an apparent reference to the Central European country's wartime record.
