The retail prices of eggs have increased to P9 or P10 per piece from P6.90 to P8.50 in December 2022 as supply remains tight after Central Luzon was hit by bird flu.
Samahang Industriya ng Agrikultura (SINAG) President Rosendo So said that Metro Manila previously got its egg supply from Region 3.
