Over 83,000 join 'Walk of Faith'

More than 80,000 devotees joined the first ever 'Walk of Faith' procession on the eve of the feast of the Black Nazarene as Church authorities cancelled for the third straight year the traditional Traslacion due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Church authorities on Sunday estimated that about 83,000 joined the six-kilometer procession from the Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church after a midnight mass presided by Quiapo Church rector Fr, Jun Sescon.
