The Russia-Ukraine war and the merchants of death

LABOR MATTERS

AFTER almost a year now, the Russia-Ukraine war persists with ever increasing ferocity. It is still difficult to know who is winning the war, except for the military-industrial complex whose business it is to manufacture weapons of war — aircraft, tanks, missiles, rockets, drones, guns and munitions.

The casualties of both Russia and Ukraine are mounting by the day as the invaders resort to bombing of residences, power plants and other infrastructures.
