THE Philippines and the People's Republic of China have agreed to strengthen bilateral ties by focusing on the growth of electronic commerce, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) said.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on e-commerce cooperation was signed by Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual and Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao on Wednesday, the DTI said in a statement.
