Drug den dismantled in Bulacan, 12 suspects apprehended

MALOLOS, Bulacan: A drug den was dismantled resulting in the arrest of twelve drug suspects during Bulacan police intensified operation in Barangay Bagong Buhay 1, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Bulacan on January 3. Bulacan Police Provincial Director Col. Relly Arnedo identified the arrested drug suspects as Dominick Torente, 20; Edwin Diaropa, 45; Marvin Aguas, 35; Raymond Barro, 36; Carolyn Broto, 32; Crizaldy Cabrera, 40; Jobert Baccay, 30; Jose Arca, 29; Bernardo Tenerife, 56; Jefferson Estandian, 32; Ricardo Gonzales, 60; and Victor Evangelista, 45, all of CSJDM. Investigation showed that around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the CSJDM Police Station's anti-illegal drugs operation was conducted in the Barrio Mausok Compound, Area B, Purok 1 that resulted in the successful dismantling of a 'drug den' and the arrest of the twelve drug suspects. Arnedo said drug paraphernalia, marked money, and thirty-three sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P26,000.00 and a weight of more or less 4 grams were found and confiscated from their possession. Moreover, five more drug peddlers were arrested as a result of a series of drug sting operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units of Plaridel, Guiguinto and Bocaue Police Stations. Thirteen sachets of suspected shabu and bust money were seized.
