THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Wednesday said that the number of reported deaths due to the shear line that brought rains and caused flooding before Christmas Day in Bicol, Visayas and Mindanao is now at 52.

According to the latest situation report of the NDRRMC, 26 of the deaths were reported in Northern Mindanao, nine in Bicol, five from Eastern Visayas, four each in Zamboanga and Davao, three in Caraga, and one in Mimaropa Region.
