Manila Cathedral to ring bell 95 times for Benedict XVI

THE Manila Cathedral will ring out its bell 95 times -- one for each year of the late Pope Benedict XVI's life -- at exactly 6 p.m today, Thursday, after the Funeral Mass at the Vatican to be presided by Pope Francis.

The Solemn Funeral Mass is scheduled at 9 a.m. (3:30 p.m Manila time) at the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
