ANCHORED on the principles of "learner-centeredness, relevance, disaggregation and localization," the Department of Education (DepEd) has issued guidelines on the selection of senior high school technical-vocational-livelihood (SHS TVL) specializations.
Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, in DepEd Order 054 s. 2022, said the guidelines aim to institutionalize the steps to be undertaken by schools division offices (SDOs) and SHS TVL to identify the technical-vocational-livelihood specializations to offer.
