Globe says 5G footprint now doubled throughout the country

GLOBE Telecoms has more than doubled its 5G footprint nationwide, which the firm said allowed Filipinos 'to enjoy faster mobile and broadband speeds in key areas nationwide.'

In a statement, the company said it ended 2022 with 5G connectivity in 70 cities and towns across the Philippines. This is higher than the 29 in 2021 and more than double the coverage in a year.
