IN light of the adverse impact of the pandemic on workers and the country's economy as a whole, Sen. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go has underscored the importance of rebuilding and strengthening the Philippine workforce that he said will require coordinated efforts from the government, private sector and ordinary Filipinos.

'By providing support to those who have lost their jobs, investing in education and training, and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, we can help ensure that the workforce is prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the post-pandemic world,' Go said during the mass graduation of the Philippine Academy of Technical Studies Inc. under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) in Daet, Camarines Norte in December last year.
