Last tranche of govt wage hike takes effect in 2023

(UPDATE) STARTING in 2023, the lowest monthly salary for a government employee is at P13,000, a lawmaker at the House of Representatives said on Tuesday.

House Committee on Appropriations Chairman Elizaldy Co said the P13,000 pay is for a regular position at Salary Grade 1 under Republic Act 11466, or the 'Salary Standardization 5' law.
