(UPDATE) DESPITE tension in the South China Sea, President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. left on Tuesday for a three-day state visit to China where he will meet with his counterpart Xi Jinping to discuss "political-security issues of a bilateral and regional nature" which the Chief Executive hopes would open a "new chapter" in relations between the two countries.
