The Labor chief thanked DoLE’s media partners for their support in communicating the Department’s programs and services. Among other program updates and directions, the DoLE Secretary, together with senior officials, apprised the media of the agency’s strengthened employment facilitation program by upskilling workers and job seekers to support quality work and address job skills mismatch. The presscon also tackled updates on the additional fund support for the implementation of workers welfare programs and DoLE’s priority legislations in the 19th Congress.
