THE Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) will hire around 1,000 personnel to fill in positions as it prepares to go fully operational in 2023.

Migrant Workers Secretary Susan "Toots" Ople said the department will open 16 regional offices and four overseas labor posts to better serve migrant workers and their families.
