BAGUIO CITY: For the second year in a row, the city government under Mayor Benjamin Magalong was awarded the 2022 Gawad Kalasag (Kalamidad at Sakuna Labanan, Sariling Galing ang Kaligtasan) Seal for Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils and Offices after being assessed as "fully compliant" by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
The city management council is headed by the mayor with Felipe Puzon, city mayor's office chief of staff, as action officer and council chief Antonette Anaban as head of its secretariat.
