THE Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has reopened several pre-pandemic routes of jeepneys to ensure there is enough public transport as mobility restrictions continue to be relaxed.
In a circular issued on Thursday, the LTFRB said it is allowing traditional and modernized jeepneys and express utility vehicles within the Metro Manila Urban Transportation Integration Study Update and Capacity Enhancement Program (MUCEP) area to resume their old routes.
