Consumers swamp Kadiwa stores to buy cheap onions

Kadiwa trended on Twitter on Friday as consumers endured long queues to buy onions for just P170 a kilo.

Long lines formed in various Kadiwa ng Pasko outlets as the Department of Agriculture (DA) offered white and red onions for P170 per kilo.
