THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) expects the inflation rate to remain elevated this month amid higher prices of agricultural commodities, electricity prices and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices.
In its month-ahead inflation forecast released on Thursday, the BSP said the December inflation print is expected to settle within 7.8-percent to 8.2-percent range.
