BACOLOD CITY: The newly installed acting commander of the Army's 303rd Infantry Brigade (303IB) vowed to support the peace efforts of the government but warned the communist insurgents that their lives will be 'miserable' if they continue their armed struggle.

'I will make your lives miserable,' said Col. Michael Samson, the new chief of the Philippine Army in Negros Occidental, during the turnover and installation ceremony at Camp Major Nelson Gerona in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, December 27.
