DA sets P250/kilo SRP for red onions

The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Thursday set a suggested retail price of P250 per kilo for red onions amid reports that the bulb is being sold for more that P700 a kilo in some areas.

The SRP will take effect on Friday, December 30, 2022, Agriculture Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson Kristine Evangelista said.
