RIVERS have been used as a metaphor on the flow of time in our lives along with the flow of energy, thoughts and emotions. Just as rivers constantly flow, our lives will flow through the year 2023 and soon find their way to 2024. Rivers are birthed by small mountain streams. Let us all and our students while our time on planet Earth have a full life nourishing humankind. We are born, live through our God-given years, until we pass away to meet our Maker. Along with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow we address the river: "River! That in silence windest,/ Through the meadows, bright and free,/ Till at length thy rest thou findest/ In the bosom of the sea!"
