Bay Area took control with a pivotal second-quarter run behind Canadian import Andrew Nicholson and Zhu Songwei's timely sniping as the Dragons hammered Barangay Ginebra, 99-82, to knot the 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals series at 1-1 on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Stymied by Christian Standhardinger's physical defense in the series-opening game, Nicholson came out with the right adjustment as he led the Dragons' huge first-half explosion that allowed the foreign squad to grab a sizeable 52-25 lead by halftime.
