DHAKA: Relatives of about 180 Rohingya refugees adrift on a boat for weeks in the Indian Ocean presume that all those on board are now dead, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Thousands of the mostly Muslim Rohingya, who are heavily persecuted in Buddhist-majority Myanmar, undertake risky sea journeys from the Southeast Asian nation and refugee camps in Bangladesh every year trying to reach Malaysia or Indonesia.
