FOOD chain giant McDonald's Philippines opened its 700th store in Nuvali — its fifth flagship "Green & Good" store in the Philippines.
McDonald's Green & Good initiative is the company's commitment to do better for the environment by equipping its restaurants with sustainable restaurant innovations with its use of green building and utility-efficient solutions, such as solar rooftops and lampposts, grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, a rainwater harvesting tank, and a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air-conditioning system, among others, that help in the reduction of greenhouse emissions.
