Gin Kings rip Dragons to draw first blood in PBA Finals

Veteran playmaker LA Tenorio connived with Best Import candidate Justin Brownlee in a strong second quarter attack as Barangay Ginebra hammered Bay Area, 96-81 to draw first blood in their 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup best-of-seven Finals series on Christmas Day at jampacked crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Tenorio fired 14 of his 22 points in the opening half, including back-to-back threes to spark a 15-0 run to turn an eight-point, second-quarter deficit into a 41-34 lead, energizing the pro-Ginebra crowd.
