THE Philippine NGO Council on Population, Health and Welfare Inc. (PNGOC) established the Philippine National Clubfoot Program (PNCP) in July 2018, in partnership with MiracleFeet, the largest global nongovernment organization in the United States that supports several low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) for the treatment of children with clubfoot. Close to 10 million people have clubfoot worldwide, and 80 percent have no access to treatment, especially in the LMICs. Every year, our country has around 3,500 newborns with clubfoot. More males than females are born with this deformity.
