I GUESS I will be spending Christmas and New year in bustling Bangkok, which has returned to pre-pandemic levels in terms of traffic and tourist arrivals. But the Thais are luckier than the Filipinos in terms of efficient public transport.

An Airport Link train takes them from the city center to Suvarnabhumi airport in less than 30 minutes. This Airport Link train is then connected to the BTS trains. And then there are also the MRT trains and the newest wonder, the subway, which I have yet to see.
