TABUK CITY, Kalinga: Some P300 million has been earmarked by the Public Works department to continue the multiyear obligation and allotment that will allow the staggered completion of the P5.5-billion Chico River mega dike project envisioned to end the perennial flooding of agricultural farms in the lower villages of the city and nearby Pinukpuk town

Rep. Allen Jesse Mangaoang said the annual appropriation of funds for the priority works that will be done in the mega dike project has been the strategy that was adopted by the Public Works department to ensure the realization of the project in the future.
