A MEMBER of the suspected terrorist group Daulah Islamiyah-Maute Group (DI-MG) has surrendered and laid down his firearm to the government troops in Lanao del Sur.
According to Joint Task Force (JTF) ZamPeLan commander, Brig. Gen. Antonio Nafarrete, the intensified intelligence and military operations of the 51st Infantry Battalion (51IB) led to the surrender of the 20-year-old DI-MG member known only by his alias "Mas'od."
