TOURISM Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said on Wednesday that the collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is part of fulfilling President Marcos' vision for tourism to become a cornerstone of economic growth, as her department is also pursuing the recovery of the pandemic-hit industry.

The Department of Tourism (DoT) signed an agreement with the DICT on Tuesday to establish and improve internet connections in 94 designated tourist destinations around the country, as well as to digitalize tourism services nationwide.
