THE Department of Education (DepEd) said that it respects the power of the President to veto certain provisions of the 2022 National Budget.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. vetoed the DepEd's special provision 4 in the 2023 General Appropriations Act, which is the "revolving fund for DepEd TV", noting that there is no law authorizing DepEd to establish a revolving fund for the purpose.
