MARIANO Marcos State University (MMSU) in Ilocos Norte is pioneering the propagation of Furikake with Black Garlic that has more nutritional contents using fermented Ilocos garlic.
In an interview with The Manila Times, Frances Ribac of the MMSU said Furikake is made from local ingredients, including malunggay (moringa) leaves, sesame seeds, tuna flakes and black garlic.
