THE lawyer of the family of slain broadcaster Percival "Percy Lapid" Mabasa brushed off the claim of one of those accused in the killing that he has been framed by drug lords.
Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Deputy Director for Security and Operations Ricardo Zulueta earlier denied any part in the murder of Mabasa and the death of inmate Cristito Villamor, saying drug lords were angry at him and suspended BuCor director general Gerald Bantag for implementing strict measures at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
