'Kilala mo ba ako (Do you know me)?' is the question thrown back at a security guard of a building or the secretary or aide of somebody big at an office when he or she is asked for an ID card before allowing him or her to gain entry or access.

In the Philippines, the rule is that politicians or their factotums or entertainment celebrities, whose claim to fame is blogging or vlogging about nonsense, or their groupies are never made to present proof of identity.
