Safeguards in place for Maharlika bill

A PROVISION to ensure transparency is among the safeguards in the Maharlika fund bill, House Speaker Martin Romualdez said on Sunday.

The House of Representatives approved on Thursday House Bill 6608, or the proposed 'Maharlika Investment Fund Act,' on third and final reading. Over 270 lawmakers voted in the affirmative and six voted in the negative.
