THE Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) has partnered with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) to help local government units (LGUs) automate their business permit and licensing systems in line with the government's initiatives to promote ease in doing business.
Secretary Ernesto Perez, director general of ARTA; William Pamintuan, Meralco senior vice president and chief legal counsel; and Biz Joy Mendoza, Meralco assistant vice president and head of all signed the memorandum of agreement (MoA) on the matter during a ceremony for the "PaspasPilipinasPaspas" project.
