Nueva Ecija claims MPBL crown

NUEVA Ecija Rice Vanguards outplayed Zamboanga Family's Brand Sardines, 69-56, in game four of the best-of-five finals on Monday, December 12, to clinch the Season 4 championship of the OKbet-Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) at the Mayor Vitaliano Agan Coliseum in Zamboanga City.

The Rice Vanguards ignited a 14-0 run in the second period to take a 29-15 lead and never looked back.
