TO help replenish the blood reserves in the country, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) partnered with the University of the Philippines' Office of the President, PAUW-UP Chapter, Nowheretogobutup Foundtion Inc., and #Samasamatulongtulong in conducting a bloodletting activity at Palma Hall, UP Diliman on December 9. Atty. Gaby Concepcion of the UP College of Law led the UP team. Dubbed 'Maroon Love for Christmas,' the bloodletting activity, which was held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., generated 558 blood units.

'Your volunteerism as blood donors will definitely help save the lives of our fellow Filipinos during medical emergencies,' PRC Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon said in appreciation of blood donors.
