GLOBAL real estate management firm Colliers is recommending developers to line up various hotel projects in order to capture the surge in local and foreign tourists.
Research Associate Director Joey Bondoc said data from the Department of Tourism (DoT) showed that for the 10-month period in 2022, it recorded 1.9 million foreign arrivals, already breaching its full-year target of 1.7 million, which shows that foreign tourists continue to go to the Philippines and that demand for hotels remains high.
