Automobile sales spiked by 32.4 percent in November, industry groups reported on Tuesday, driven by strong commercial vehicle demand that was attributed to a recovering economy.

In a joint report, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) said that 35,037 vehicles were sold last month from 26,456 a year earlier.
