Bay Area escapes with 103-102 win vs SMB in semis opener

Kobey Lam made the go-ahead basket, while San Miguel Beer import Devon Scott missed a tough shot from the corner in the dying seconds, allowing Bay Area to complete a come-from-behind 103-102 victory in game one of their 2022-23 PBA Commissioner's Cup best-of-five semifinal series on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

It was a tough loss for the Beermen, who were eager to redeem themselves from the 26-point beating in their elimination-round loss to the Dragons.
